Rikthehet ne skenë "Skënderbeu" Pas 44 vjetësh, një nga veprat me madhore te lirikes vendase u kthye ne skenën nga ku edhe u ngjit dikur për here te pare

Pas 44 vjetësh, një nga veprat me madhore te lirikes vendase u kthye ne skenën nga ku edhe u ngjit dikur për here te pare. Opera "Skënderbeu", me muzike te Prenk Jakoves u duk se ruajti fizionominë tradicionale te veprës se pare te krijuar me libret te Llazar Siliqit ne vitet '60. Por këtë here, ne premierën e te hënës mbrëma, vepra ishte një ndërthurje mes regjisë italiane, dirigjimit shqiptar dhe interpretimit te personazhit kryesor nga tenori amerikan, Roy Stevens. Ashtu siç pritej, tenori Stevens interpretoi ne shqip e bashke me te ne këtë produksion mori pjese një kast prej gati 200 artistesh. Kostumet ishin një tjetër element qe Teatri Kombëtar i Operës dhe Baletit i kishte kushtuar rëndësi, duke ndërthurur ne to elemente te periudhës arbërore, por edhe detaje tradicionale te prezantuar me vone nder shekuj. Ne operën me dy akte "Skënderbeu" ngjarjet nisin ne vitin 1443, ku Gjergj Kastrioti nis përpjekjet e tij për bashkimin e shqiptareve kundër pushtuesve otomane. Pjese e veprës është gjithashtu dashuria e heroit kombëtar me atë qe me pas behet bashkëshortja, Donika. Vepra do te vijoje te shfaqet ne Teatrin e Operës dhe Baletit deri me 22 Qershor.
