Flamuri shqiptar ne Everest - 2012 Albania Flag in Everest

Ky imazh qe shihni tregon qarte flamurin shqiptar, i cili valëvitet ne majën me te larte te botes, Everestin. Alpinistet shqiptare, kane arritur kështu te ngrëne ne çatinë e botes simbolin kuq e zi, pas një ekspedite te lodhshme te nisur ne muajin prill, e cila nder te tjera është ndihmuar edhe nga rrjeti i njohur i supermarketeve "Conad", i cili i ka furnizuar alpinistet shqiptar me ushqime specifike për këtë rrugëtim jo te zakonshëm.
Ne fotografitë e publikuara nga ekspedita, shfaqet grupi i alpinisteve Fation Plaku, Gerti Pishtari, Gjergj Bojaxhi, Erlin Rudho Xhimi dhe Mateo Begeja, te cilët kane arritur te ngjiten ne lartësi e 8844 metrave. Ekspedita Everest, u ndërmor ne kushtet me ekstreme te motit dhe te lartësisë. Te gjithë alpinistet u trajnuan para kësaj nderrmarjeje, pasi ata duhet te duronin temperatura tejet ekstreme nga -30 deri ne -40 grade celsius. Shqetësimi ka qene i larte për ekipin shqiptar disa dite me pare, pasi një stuhi e papritur shkaktoi vdekjen e dy alpinisteve te huaj, ne atë qe njihet si maja e vdekjes.
